Clarence ""Clink"" Goehring, 75, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Jamestown Hospital.
Clarence ""Clink"" was born on April 28, 1932 in Washburn, ND, the son of John and Alvina (Falk) Goehring. He attended school and graduated from Washburn High School. Clink entered the US Marine Corps on May 22, 1952, served in Hawaii, and was honorably discharged on May 1954. On February 20, 1958 Clink married Barbara Bergquist in Ashwaa, Iowa. They moved to Washburn and then to Bismarck, ND. In 1971 Clink and Barbara moved to Jamestown where he worked for Melland Appliance as manager. He owned and operated Clink's TV and Appliance for ten years before retiring.
Clink was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed old cars, airplanes, reading and football.
Clink is survived by his wife, Barbara of Jamestown and one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Mark Olson, suburban Minneapolis, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Rich Fitzer officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 to 6:00 PM, Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
Burial: River View Cemetery, Washburn, North Dakota.
