Clark Fisher

Clark W. Fisher, 78, Jamestown, ND died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Clark was born February 11, 1934 in Pingree, ND, the son of Albert, Sr. and Anna (Hockstetter) Fisher. He received his education in rural Pingree schools. He entered the US Army on November 29, 1955 and served in Germany. He was discharged on November 19, 1957 and returned to North Dakota. He was in the North Dakota National Guard for 18 years. On February 22, 1958 Clark married Jeanette Hopkins in Jamestown. Clark received his GED in 1981. He owned and operated Fisher's Bait Shop in Jamestown for 20 years. Jeanette passed away on March 20, 2012.

Clark was a lifetime member of D.A.V., member of the VFW, United Sportsman and past member of Dakota Anglers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Clark is survived by three sons, Terry Fisher (Lori Bentz), Kelvin Fisher and Darrin Fisher, all of Jamestown; three brothers, Lee Fisher and Lynn (Hazel) Fisher, both of Jamestown and Albert (Sue) Fisher, Oregon; and five sisters, Helen (Martin) Suko, Jamestown, Lil (Ray) Sprazoff, Pick City, AZ, Garnett Perleberg, Jamestown, Pearl Eck, Fargo, ND and Shirley (Leon) Beteau, West Swansey, NH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; parents; daughter, Mary Jean and one brother, Elmer Fisher.
