Claryce Boehler

Claryce Boehler, 63, Plymouth, MN, passed away on July 25, 2012, at her home after a valiant battle with cancer.

Claryce was born to Floyd and Vernell (Doyle) Erickson on February 17, 1949 in Jamestown, ND. Claryce attended Homer "country" School in rural Jamestown through eighth grade and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1967. Claryce attended Valley City State Teacher's College, working for a time in Fargo, ND, before returning to Jamestown to marry Kim Zink of Pingree, ND, in 1973. They were later divorced. Two children were born from this union - Markeen and Chad.

Claryce married Gary Boehler in 1992. They made their home in Plymouth, MN.

Claryce was employed many years as the executive secretary of White Drug Enterprises in Jamestown, the State of ND, Bismarck, ND and most recently in administration at Breck School, Minneapolis, MN. Claryce enjoyed working and work she did. Her family was the light in her life and she baked for them often. Many know her for the cookies she lovingly baked, created and shared for every holiday or special event. Each a work of art, tasting as good as they looked.

Claryce was a "giver", who always thought of others before her own needs. Many of her family knew her as ?Birdie?. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and loved when everyone "gathered around" to play pinochle. She enjoyed cross-stitching, bowling, pulling for "lucky sevens" and her book club at Breck School.

Claryce is survived by her husband, Gary Boehler; daughter Markeen Zink, Buffalo, MN; son Chad Zink (Melissa Cook), Buffalo, MN; step children, Michelle Boehler, Reno, NV and Melissa (Jay) Boehler Glatman, Seal Beach, CA; her mother, Vernell Erickson, Jamestown; two sisters, George Ann (Stan) Waagen, Jamestown and Carol (Lynn) Beiswanger, Bismarck, ND; five brothers, Clifford (Diane) Erickson, William (Jeanette) Erickson, Jamestown, Lee Erickson (Gwen Kelly), Bismarck, Neil (Marie) Erickson, Woods Cross, UT, Craig (Kelly) Erickson, Apple Valley, MN. She also leaves in-laws, Audrey Frederickson, Plymouth, MN, Karen Boehler, Fort Collins, CO, Warren Boehler, Minot, ND and Lois (Gerry) Mongeon, Mandan, ND; five grandchildren, Charlie Ball and Eric Zink, Buffalo, MN, Gavyn Graham, Meaghan Zink and Dominc Cook, Buffalo, MN and Katelyn Glatman, Seal Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd A Erickson; stepdaughter, Marci Boehler; grandchild, Conner Cook; her grandparents and many beloved aunts and uncles.
