Constance "Connie" Dunn

Constance “Connie” Dunn, 27, of Jamestown, ND, passed away after a two year battle with cancer on Saturday morning, May 11, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo.

Constance was born on July 28, 1996, in Willmar, MN, the daughter of Scott and Rebecca (Rhoda) Knutson.  She grew up on the family farm near Belview, MN, was baptized and confirmed at Rock Dell Lutheran Church.  Connie attended Echo Charter School, where she was active with the volleyball and basketball teams.  Connie worked at Parkview Nursing Home while in high school and graduated from Echo Charter High School.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Clara City, MN.  Connie moved to Jamestown in 2015 and married Joseph Dunn on August 12, 2017 in Jamestown.  She loved working the night-shift at Eventide, Jamestown and also worked the pit gate at the Jamestown Speedway.  Connie enjoyed fishing, crocheting, reading, traveling, and going to Minnesota Twins games with Joe.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Dunn; parents, Scott & Rebecca Knutson; brothers, Anthony, Andrew, Brian, Christian, and Vincent; grandfather, Milo Knutson; mother-in-law, Theresa Dunn; father-in-law, Archie Dunn; brother-in-law, Michael Wiest; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Connie was preceded in death by grandmother, Sharon Knutson; grandparents, John & Deanna Rhoda; aunt, Jean Boyum; and family dog, Daisy.

Memorial Service – 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Visitation – One hour before the service at the church.

Committal – 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 9th at the Knutson Farm, 41724 Co. Hwy 7, Belview, MN 56214.  Following will be an informal gathering open to the public 2-5pm @ Odean Hall, 204 S Main St, Belview, MN 56214.  A private family burial will also take place in Jamestown at a later date.
