Cruz Schumacher

Cruz Lee Schumacher age 24 of Jamestown passed away January 27, 2018 from a motor vehicle accident.
Cruz was born January 19, 1994 the son of Shawn and Kathy (Dahl) Schumacher in Jamestown N.D.
Cruz attended Washington Elementary, Jamestown Middle & High school. Out of school he started work at Schumacher Construction, later he worked for Mid Mach and currently was working with his father and brother for the family business Schumacher Concrete.
Cruz was the wild one when it came to anything with a motor. He loved hunting, fishing, 4 - wheeling , mudding , and going snowmobiling in the mountains with his family and friends. He even enjoyed work. He went through many sets of tires from burning a little rubber. Hanging out with family and friends is what made Cruz “Cruz”.
There are no words to express how we all feel,Cruz was an active guy and the life of the party. His smile was contagious and could light up the room. Through life’s up’s and down’s Cruz always kept his spirit up and proved to everyone that life is worth living to the fullest. Our hearts are broken and a piece chipped away. Thank you Cruz, for showing us the lighter side of life.
He is Survived by his parents Shawn and Kathy Schumacher, One brother Michael Brewer, Jamestown. Grandfather Joe Schumacher, Pettibone. Uncle Brad(Staci) Ashley, Amanda, JJ Schumacher. Uncle Mark(Jen) Devin(Stephanie) Schumacher. Aunt Nicole Schumacher Kacey, Lacey Koropatnicki. Uncle John, Cassie, Jacob Dahl. Aunt Mellony(Jeff) Julie O’Neil. Uncle Lee(Rhonda) Morissa, Tevor Dahl. Aunt Karen(Darren) Estie, Lauren, Nicole Standen. Uncle Scott (Erika) Nathanael Dahl. Aunt Susie(Travis) Alec Schlager Ashley(Justin) Kayson Andres. Uncle Rick(Connie) Michael Dahl. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Sonja(Flemmer) Schumacher. Grandparents Morris & Marlene(Piatz)Dahl. Many Great Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30 at Eddy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 31 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
