Curtis Bentz

Curtis Bentz, 59, of Valley City, ND, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City.

Curtis Bentz was born on February 17, 1955, the son of Gust and Connie Bentz. He was raised on the family farm north of Richardton, ND and the family moved to Dickinson in 1964. Curt graduated from Dickinson High School and attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK. Curt was employed by Evergreen Aviation in Phoenix, AZ. He moved back to Dickinson, ND and fought a long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Curt is survived by his brothers, Jeff and Mona Bentz, Dallas and Julie Bentz; nieces and nephews, Trisha & Charlie Kendall and Doug Bentz, all of Denver CO, and Dayton Bentz, Dickinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service : 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Richardton, ND.
