Daniel E. Kapp Sr.

Daniel E. Kapp, Sr., 72, Medina, North Dakota died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at his home in Medina.

Dan was born May 4, 1936 in Tappen, ND, the son of Jacob and Mary (Garner) Kapp. He grew up in the Tappen and Crystal Springs, ND areas. In September 1966 Dan married Carolyn Witt in Steele, ND. He worked for 36 years for Northern Improvement Construction Co. of Bismarck, ND.

Dan loved horses, building things, spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Poncho.

Dan is survived by his four children, Daniel Kapp, Jr., Medina, Teresa Kapp, Allen Kapp (Kari Thompson) and Chad (Jessica) Kapp, all of Jamestown; five grandchildren, Dylan Schultz, Janessa Kapp, Jared Kapp, Meggy Vollrath and Brycen Schlepuetz; ten brothers and sisters, William (Clara) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND, Clarence Kapp, Jamestown, Lorraine Binder, Steele, ND, Jake (Nona) Kapp, Dawson, ND, Larry (Connie) Kapp, Dawson, ND, Dale (Teresa) Kapp, Dawson, ND, Karen Marzolf, Eldridge, ND, Linda Kapp, Tappen, ND, Linda Kapp, Tappen, ND and Teddy Kapp, Tappen, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Eugene Kapp; and one sister, Betty Hofman.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, August 8, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Medina Cemetery, Medina, North Dakota.
