Daniel Peterson

Daniel Peterson, 58, of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday morning, May 26, 2015 as a result of a vehicle accident north of Jamestown.

Daniel Ray Peterson was born on July 19, 1956, in Rapid City, SD, the son of Lloyd and Alice (Soulek) Peterson. He attended and graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1974. He went on to graduate from Huron College. After graduation, he went to work for the Rapid City Police Department and DCI. After moving to Jamestown, he met and married Lisa Gartner on May 23, 2008. He was employed by CHS at the time of his death. Dan loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed carpentry, working on cars and boating.

Dan is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Broc; daughter, Dani; parents Lloyd and Alice Peterson; sister, Teri (Mark) McNally and their son Michael; and brother, Randy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and niece, Katie.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St James Basilica, Jamestown. Arrangements in the care of the Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Service will also be held at Osheim-Schmidt at 10:00 a.m., June 6, 2015 with Interment at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Rapid City, SD
