Darold Roemmich, 73, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 22, 2019 at the North Dakota Veterans’ Administration Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Darold was born November 25, 1945, in Tappen, ND, the son of Emil R. and Bertha (Pfaff) Roemmich. He was raised in Tappen and graduated from Tappen High School. He entered the US Air Force on February 1, 1965 and served in Vietnam fron 1967 to 1968. Darold was honorably discharged on January 8, 1969 and returned to North Dakota. He married Lenora Wetzel on August 10, 1973 in Medina, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked for the City of Jamestown until his retirement.
Darold is survived by his wife, Lenora Roemmich; two daughters, Donnell (Travis) Krueger and Danette (Brian) Heidt; four grandchildren, Alexius, Addison, Aiden, and Dezare; brothers, Thilmer (Susan) Roemmich and Marvin (Karen) Roemmich; and sisters, Violet Moreland and Viona (David) Gienger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
