Darrel Kirschenman

Darrel Kirschenman, 80, Adrian, ND passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 of injuries sustained in an accident near his home.

Darrel was born May 9, 1938 in Marion, ND to Leon and Adeline (Danuser) Kirschenman. He grew up near Adrian and farmed there his entire life.

Darrel married Tania (Beem) Kirschenman on October 17, 1981 in Fargo, ND. They raised their boys on the farm. Darrel especially enjoyed working the land and trying to develop new ways to take care of it sustainably.

He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 9, 1981 and has served as an elder with the Jamestown congregation for 25 years.

Darrel was always enthused to share with others what he had learned from the Bible about a time when the entire earth would be free from pollution, sickness, and even death -- all the promises Christ Jesus told his followers to pray for when God’s will for this earth will be accomplished the way Jehovah God purposed.

Darrel is survived by his wife, Tania; sons, Drew (Kristen) Kirschenman, Bismarck, ND and Karl Kirschenman, Jamestown, ND; brother, Duane (Faye) Kirschenman, Winston-Salem, NC and one sister, Lillian Summerfield, Wahpeton, ND, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jamestown, ND.
