David Beyer, 44, Marion, ND, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
David Allan Beyer was born October 8, 1961 at Jamestown, ND the son of Vernon Beyer and Linda Carroll Soosbee. He was raised near Montpelier, ND and attended many elementary schools while his father traveled and worked in several towns. He graduated from Montpelier High School and then participated in Job Corps before joining the United States Navy where he served on the USS Flint. After his discharge, he worked for a time in California. David married on January 16, 1981 in Las Vegas, ND and later returned to North Dakota and worked for the Canadian-Pacific Railroad.
David biggest love in life was his son, family, friends and railroad buddies.
Survivors include his father, Vernon (Claudette) Beyer, Marion, ND; mother, Linda (Jack) Soosbee, Las Vegas, NV; son, Wesley, Elliott, ND; grandmother, Violet Beyer, St, Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND; 2 sisters: Roxanne (Darrell) Johnson, Maddock, ND; Theresa Beyer, Savannah, GA; 2 brothers: Ronald (Petra) Walks Jr., Germany; Kelly Johnson, Jamestown, ND; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
Funeral - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2006 and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.
Interment - Emmanuel Cemetery, Marion, ND
