David T. Kachel

David Todd Kachel, 44, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Innovis Health Center in Fargo, ND, as a result of injuries sustained from an accidental fall.

Dave was born April 10, 1962 in Jamestown, the youngest son of Melvin and Alice (Hanson) Kachel. He grew up in Jamestown, graduated from Jamestown High School in 1980, and continued his education at Jamestown College. He worked at Leaf n' Shutter in Jamestown, then moved to California where he was a manager at Wentling Photography. He returned to Jamestown and worked at Scott's Electric. He was currently employed by E.J. Underground Construction, Jamestown.

Dave is survived by his parents; three brothers, Murry Kachel of Del Rio, TX and his son, Madison, Daniel (Traci) Kachel of Long Beach, CA and their son, James, and Timothy (Carol) Kachel of Jamestown and their three children, Kayla, Katie, and Cody; and Dave's best friend, Dann Ordal of Jamestown.

Memorial Mass: 10:00 AM, Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Basilica of St. James, Jamestown with Father John McGinnis officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.
