David "Last Leg" Lausch, 58, Jamestown, ND died December 11, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.
Dave was born October 26, 1954 in Carrington, ND, the son of Walter and Joyce (Heiden) Lausch. He attended school in Carrington and graduated from Carrington High School. On December 21, 1973 he married Teri Hamann in Chaseley, ND. Dave and Teri were married for 29 years and had one son, Dana.
Dave worked for Steinman Manufacturing as a welder making farm equipment. Later he started his own business, Last Leg Taxi, in Carrington. He eventually transferred the business to Jamestown.
He loved working and no matter what obstacles life threw at him he was always there for people.
Dave loved fishing and hunting (especially with his son), playing poker, watching his nieces and nephews basketball games, going to softball games and on road trips.
Dave is survived by his son, Dana Lausch, New England, ND; one sister, Chris (Peter) Roller, Jamestown; two brothers, Jim (Paula) Lausch, Jamestown and Brendon Lausch, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Tracy Lausch, Wilton, ND; special niece, Nicole Quam, Jamestown; four nieces and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and one brother, Mark.
