David Rickford

David Dean Rickford, 66, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

David was born on January 11, 1958 in Woodworth, ND to Kermet and Tressie Rickford.

David met Rhonda Tompkins in 1993 and they had one child together, Sharita.  In 1996, he met the love of his life Sandy Ruark in Jamestown, ND.  He has three step children that he loved very deeply, Tammy, Ian and Brandon.

David had a deep love for all sports.  He worked at JRMC and Schwans Whole Sale up until his retirement.  He has many grandchildren that he loved so much, Daisy, Victoria, Carrie, Kaedin, Kiari, Kenidie, Reece and Symphanie along with many nieces and nephews.

David is survived by his daughter Sharita, girlfriend Sandy, his three step children Tammy (Deb), Ian (Felicia) and Brandon along with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermet and Tressie and one brother Franklin.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, April 22, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.
