David A. Rorman

David Avery Rorman, 31, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Bismarck, ND.

David was born to Lee & Linda (Steckler) Rorman on May 30, 1979 in Jamestown, ND, where he was raised and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1998. He lived and worked in Fargo, ND for several years until he moved to Bismarck where he was employed at Menards.

David loved movies (mostly of the art house and independently produced variety.) He also loved to read and write. He has produced and directed two short films and has written and illustrated two graphic novels. David's works have been entered in the Fargo Film Festival. He was a man of few words but had a creative mind always working through new ideas.

He was a kind & gentle soul and had a loving spirit. Dave had a wonderful sense of humor and liked to make his friends laugh. He loved to spend time with his brothers.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Rorman, Bismarck, ND; his father, Lee (Marlene) Rorman, Fargo, ND; 2 brothers, Michael L. Rorman, Post Falls, ID and Joseph A. Rorman, Fargo, ND; and one grandmother, Betty Rorman-Kelley, Park Rapids, MN.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Jack Rorman and Emil and Audrey Steckler.
