David Stephenson

David Stephenson, 50, Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at this home in Jamestown.

David was born September 8, 1958 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Wendell and Cecelia (Henry) Stephenson. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks. After moving to Jamestown he worked at various custodial jobs.

David enjoyed the fresh air whether he was riding his bike, walking or just sitting outside his apartment. His special joys were his daughter and grandkids.

David is survived by his daughter, Tammy Jean DeMotte (daughter of Sandy Jean Ruark), Jamestown; two granddaughters, Victoria Rose DeMotte and Carrie Ann Carter, both of Jamestown; two sisters, Betty (Don) Neese, Montgomery, AL and Carol (Joe) Wilson, Spokane, WA; and five brothers, John (Debbie) Stephenson and William Stephenson, both of Fargo, ND, Jerry (Carla) Stephenson, Dickinson, ND, Wendell (Virginia) Stephenson, Moorhead, MN and a twin brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: 12:00 to 5:00 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
