Dean Fidge

Dean E. Fidge, 46, Jamestown died Thursday, August 15, 2002 at the Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND. Dean was born May 11, 1956 at Jamestown, North Dakota, the son of Wallace and Beverly (Bruns) Fidge. He received his education in the Jamestown Public schools. He worked for Alpha Opportunites and the North Dakota State Hospital, including other places in the Jamestown area until his retirement from the Human Services in June of 1990. Dean Fidge married Kristi Engelbrektson on March 23, 1985 in Valley City, North Dakota. They made their home in Jamestown.

Dean enjoyed the art of collecting and had a great love for the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which he rode until his retirement in June of 1990.

He is survived by wife, Kristi Fidge of Jamestown, ND; two children, Andria and Dustin Fidge of Jamestown, ND; three sisters, Shelly Fidge of Fargo, ND, Nickie Fidge of Jamestown, ND, and Sharla (Robert) Heitz of Jamestown, ND; one brother, Dennis (Gina) Fidge of Conroe, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM Monday, August 19, 2002 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. David Eppelsheimer officiating.

Visitation: Sunday, August 18, 2002 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM Sunday, August 18, 2002 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
