Debrah J. Roeker, 51, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Monday, August 1, 2005 at her home in Jamestown after a courageous battle with cancer since February 2000.
Deb was born August 22, 1953 in Oakes, North Dakota the daughter of Arthur and Gloria (Meyer) Larson. She graduated from LaMoure High School in 1971. Deb married Kenneth Roeker on Septemer 8, 1973 in LaMoure, ND. They lived in LaMoure and Grand Forks, ND before moving to Jamestown in 1982. Deb worked at the truck plaza, Agricover, TRW and as a housekeeper at Jamestown College.
Deb enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and cooking and antiquing.
Deb is survived by her husband, Ken and daughter, Amanda Roeker, both of Jamestown; son, Kent (Dani) Roeker, Aberdeen, SD and three sisters, Vicki Wenzel, Peoria, AZ, Betty Kropp, Jamestown and Cindy Dibi, Sparta, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Concordia Lutheran Church with Pastor Thomas Eckstein officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, North Dakota.
Prayer Service: 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Rosehill Cemetery, LaMoure, North Dakota.
