Denise Marie Frydenlund

Denise Marie Frydenlund (Bushy), 85, of Jamestown, ND, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2021

Denise was born on October 25th, 1935, to Raymond and Ethel Bushy of East Grand Forks, MN. In 1956, she married Ronald Frydenlund of Hatton, ND.  Denise and Ron resided in Grand Forks, Bismarck and Jamestown, ND.  Ron and Denise became the parents of seven children. Paul (Barb) Frydenlund, Rolla, ND; Carrie Haakenson, Jamestown, ND, Jay (Durene) Frydenlund, East Grand Forks, MN, Jamie Moher, Minneapolis MN, Eric Frydenlund (Trish), Minneapolis MN, Leigh Ann Anderson (Rod), Cleveland, OH and Sara (Chris) Jessen, Minneapolis, MN.

Denise was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Ron Frydenlund (2012) her parents, Richard and Ethel Bushy, her sisters Betty, Pat, Joan, and brother Donald. She is survived by her brother Jack (Angie) Bushy of Daytona Beach, Florida, her 7 children, 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Denise deeply enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren coaching and participating in all sports and activities. Denise and Ron traveled extensively throughout the USA and Europe. They shared the love of baseball and attended numerous professional, minor, and local baseball games throughout the country. Ron and Denise spent many years supporting Jamestown American Legion Baseball.

Keeping with Denise’s wishes a private family burial will occur at a later date.  The family requests that memorial donations in memory of Denise be given to JAYBAL, PO Box 1185, Jamestown, ND 58402 in support of the Jamestown Legion Baseball Program.
