Dennis Kane

Dennis Kane, 66, Jamestown, ND, went to be with Jesus, his Savior and Lord, Monday, July 12, 2010.

Dennis was born April 10, 1944 in Deadwood, SD, the son of Arthur Sheridan and Grace (Goodrich) Kane. He attended elementary school in Beulah and Bismarck. He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1962. He attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, receiving a degree in Philosophy in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1963-1969. He began his career as a social worker with Stutsman County Social Services in 1969, retiring in 2005. He married Cheryl Gensler on April 29, 2978 in Jamestown. Denny enjoyed fishing, amateur radio and painting.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Cheryl; a brother, Doug (Nora), Bismarck, ND; a sister-in-law, Oline Kane, Fargo, ND and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David.

Funeral - 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND

Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Lisko Funeral Chapel; 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday

Interment - Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
