Duane ""Dewey"" Guy Moos, 32, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, August 5, 2002 at the Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, North Dakota.
Dewey Moos was born May 18, 1970 at the Jamestown Hospital and was flown to Minneapolis within hours, being born with spina bifida. During Dewey's first 11 years, there were many struggles, but he always came through. This time was too much for his body to handle. Dewey went home to the Lord Monday, August 5, 2002.
Our Dewey graduated from the Anne Carlsen School for Children in 1991; a school and staff of which he loved.
Dewey was a very special young man. He loved people and loved helping at the Donut Hole in Jamestown and was always ready to help others.
Dewey lived at the Dewey Apartments in Jamestown and was so proud to show independence, every day. As soon as his favorite soap opera was over, he would ride the James River Transit and go to his parent's home. He loved the bus drivers; they were very special to him and took good care of Dewey. He also loved to tease people and was always a happy young man; so full of love and compassion. Dewey will be missed by so many. He looked forward to Christmas so he could ring the bell for the Salvation Army.
God Bless each and everyone for all your kindness to Our Precious Dewey.
He is survived by his parents, Duane J. and Ione (Strom) Moos of Jamestown, ND; one brother, Doene Moos of Cincinnati, OH; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
