Dollie Larson, 98, Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND.
Natalie Dollie Trautman was born April 6, 1908 on the family farm in Valley Springs Township, near Cleveland, ND, the daughter of William and Catherine (Lawyer) Trautman. She was raised on the family farm and attended the Valley Springs Township School. Following her schooling, she helped out on the farm until 1934, when she married Walter Rumsey and they settled in Dickey, ND. When Walter died in 1944, she moved to Jamestown, ND where she worked for Mac's and Ringuette's Steam Laundry and opened a foster home. In 1962, she married Fay Walters at St. John's Lutheran Church. Fay died in 1979. In 1981, she married Swede Larson at Jamestown, ND. When Swede died in 1994, she moved to the James House.
Dollie was a member of the Jamestown Eagles Auxiliary and St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Loberg, Cody, WY; 3 grandchildren: Mavis (Bill) Metz, Cody, WY; Randy (Stephanie) Loberg, Cody, WY; Pam (Mike) French, Worland, WY; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 siblings: Millie Mrozek, Jamestown, ND; Fritz Stuck, Lisbon, ND and Sophia, Minot, North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 husbands; 3 brothers: Rudolph, Ed, Billy and 3 sisters: Rachel, Martha and Tillie.
Funeral - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Reverend Doug Opp officiating.
Visitation - Noon to 9:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2006 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.
Interment - Sunset Memorial Garden, Jamestown, ND
