Donald T. Messner

Donald T. Messner, 74, Jamestown, ND, formerly of Sanborn, ND, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

Donald was born November 10, 1937 in Fargo, ND, the son of Theodore and Margaret (Myrhow) Messner. He attended Bowers School through the 8th grade and graduated from Sanborn High School. He lived and farmed in the Rogers and Sanborn area all his life.

Donald was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Rogers, ND; the Eagles; Anderson Township Board and the Fairview Cemetery Board. He enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting.

Donald is survived by two sisters, Barbara Knutson and Mary Legge, both of Jamestown; two brothers, Theodore (Pat) Messner, Minot, ND and Willard (Harriet) Messner, Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Greg Legge; nephew, Lonty Knutson; and many aunts and uncles.
