Donna Tees

Donna Maas Tees, 75, Jamestown died on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Donna was born on August 5, 1941 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Walter and Lydia (Meidinger) Maas.
Donna graduated from Jamestown High School in May 1960, and married Wayne Tees on June 26, 1960. They started a family together and by 1970, had four beautiful children. In 1972, they had to move their farmstead to its current location due to the Pipestem Dam Project. From the moment she started her family she loved making her home a comfortable place for them and their friends. She enjoyed gardening in the summer, crafting and puzzles in the winter.
Having bible questions all her life she started a diligent study of the bible, and on July 8th, 1972 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved what she learned in the Bible, and read in it daily. This moved her to spend much of her time telling others about what she learned. She had great faith, and this fortified her throughout her life.
Donna is survived by her husband, Wayne, Jamestown, daughters, Brenda Gibson and Cynthia (Harmon) Fahland, son, Mark Tees, two grandchildren.
Memorial service; 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Kingdom Hall, Jamestown.
