Donovan Moran

February 7, 1965 — January 7, 2024

Donovan Moran passed away on January 7, 2024 in Jamestown. His life was a blessing to his family and friends. Born to Robert and Nora Moran on February 7, 1965, Donovan was raised on the Moran family farm and graduated from Pingree High School.  He then farmed on the family farm.

The youngest of six children, Donovan is survived by his mother, Nora, three sisters, Sandy (Duane) Broschat, Robin (Glenn) Dunwoody, Laurel (Patrick) Spaeth, sister-in-law, Peggy Moran; 12 nieces and nephews (Shane, Clinton, Becky, Amber, Jennifer, Kylie, Shyloh, Eugene, Danika, Camden, Eli, Isaac) and 20 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and brothers Darrell and DeWayne.

Donovan continued working in farming throughout his life, residing in Pingree, Jamestown, and later LaMoure. He enjoyed family history, car racing, and shooting competitions. Donovan had many friends and was an engaging conversationalist, never one to miss a good story or joke.

Family was important to Donovan and his love for them was constant. His mother and family will dearly miss him.
