Dorline Guthmiller

Dorline (Schneider) Guthmiller, 92, of Pettibone, ND, died peacefully on April 8, 2025 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, ND.

Dorline was born October 20, 1932, the daughter of Peter and Carrie (Guthmiller) Schneider. She was united in marriage to Ludwig Guthmiller on December 6, 1953 at Petersville Lutheran Church. Dorline worked many years at the Pettibone Public School as the cook while raising four children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and playing bingo. Dorline also enjoyed gardening, planting and caring for flowers. You could also find her fixing wells with her husband, Louie in her spare time.

Dorline is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Wesley) Almer, Tuttle, ND and Kathy (Pat) Kraemer, McHenry, ND; two sons, Allen (Diana Fettig) Guthmiller, Bismarck, ND and Darrell (Bernette Gruebele) Guthmiller, Pettibone, ND; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; one brother; one great-granddaughter; one son-in-law; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law.

Funeral Service – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Pettibone, with Rev. Robert Hill officiating.

Visitation – One hour before the service at the church.

Burial – Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Pettibone.
