Dorothy Carlascio, 87, Jamestown, ND passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2016 at her home.
Dorothy Juanita Rosemore was born on February 25, 1929, to Mary (Komorski) and George Rosemore. Dorothy grew up in Windsor, North Dakota. She attended St. John's Academy. After graduation she lived and worked in Bismarck at MDU (Montana Dakota Utilities). She married James A. Carlascio on November 30, 1951.
Dorothy was a member of St. James Basilica and belonged to St. Bernadette's Circle, also a member of the DAV Auxiliary. She was active in the local Democratic party. Dorothy and Jim traveled throughout the tri state area as ambassadors with the UTU Miniature train, enjoyed National P.O.W Conventions with Jim throughout the country and made life long friends. She was avid reader, enjoyed entertaining, baking, and her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Pam, Kathleen, Jimmy and Mark (Chris); grandchildren, Krystal, Jace, Grant, Tessa and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her husband James, parents Mary & George, brothers Larry, Gordon, Donald and Ronald, sisters, Lola, Josephine, Celia, Florence and Catherine.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND with Msgr. Jeffrey L. Wald, officiating.
Visitation: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Rosary and Vigil Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
