Dorothy Ingle, 87, of Jamestown, ND died Friday, February 4, 2005, at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown, ND.
Dorothy was born in Jamestown on October 24, 1917, the daughter of Charles and Mae (Crane) Edin. She graduated from Jamestown High School and a beauty college in Fargo, ND. Dorothy married Guy Allen Ingle on November 18, 1942 in Bemidji, MN. They lived in Jamestown where she managed Tellner Jewelry for many years.
Dorothy was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown where she served on numerous committees. She was a volunteer at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home for many years. Dorothy was dedicated to serving people in the community throughout her life. She especially loved and supported her children, grandchildren, and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Lt. Col. (Ret.) James (Phyllis) Ingle of Omaha, NE and Rev. Keith D. ""Tony"" (Sharon) Ingle of Fargo, ND; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles (Borgni) Edin of Jamestown, ND; and one sister, Irma ""Dean"" DeLong of Richmond, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, February 7, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
Visitation: Sunday, February 6, 2005 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
