Dorothy Catherine Klodt

Dorothy Klodt, 87, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday afternoon, March 6, 2019, at Eventide, Jamestown.
Dorothy Clemens was born April 13, 1931, in Courtenay, North Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Palmer) Clemens. She grew up in Courtenay and attended the academy in New Rockford, ND. Dorothy was a nanny in Eckelson, MT and later in Montana. She married John J. Klodt in January 1950 and they made their home in Montana. Dorothy moved to Jamestown on October 10, 1972 where her home has been since.
She was a member of St. James Basilica.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Albert, Dorothy Kay Brown, and James; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Lambrecht and Caroline Yeager; and brother, Kenneth (Eileen) Clemens and Bernard Clemens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John, Jr.; and brothers, Robert, Leo, and Ray.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.
Visitation: None scheduled. Arrangements are in the care of Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Interment: St. Boniface Cemetery, Wimbledon, ND at a later date.
