Dorothy J. Pederson, 89 of Jamestown, ND, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND.
Dorothy was born on August 9th, 1931 to Trygve and Mabel (Farnquist) Larson in Valley City. ND.
Dorothy worked for many years in clothing retail. She was an active and dedicated member of the Trinity Lutheran Church where she often spent her time volunteering.
Dorothy is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Orville “Pete” Pederson, son, Roger Hill, and sister-in-law, Lorrine Larson.
She is survived by her brother Larrie Larson, Mesa, AZ; son, Richard (Shelley) Hill, Payson, AZ; daughters, Lyn Schaefer, Elbow Lake, MN, LuAnn (Richard) Ellingson, West Fargo, ND, Laurie Hill, South Carolina and daughter-in-law, Peggy Hill, Fargo, ND. Dorothy is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual funeral is scheduled for 11 AM on Thursday November 19th, 2020 with a live stream of the service available by going to the link on the Williams Funeral Home website.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at both Edgewood Senior Living and Ave Maria Village for their care and dedication.
