Duane Van Winkle

Duane Van Winkle, 60, Sioux Falls, SD passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD after a long illness.
Duane Van Winkle was born April 14, 1956 in Kensal, ND to Eugene and Aldina Van Winkle. He attended and graduated from Larimore High School. Duane served in the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged. His hobbies included fishing and riding horses.
Duane is survived by one son, Duane Van Winkle; two brothers, Edward (Lisa) Van Winkle, Major Henry Van Winkle; two step-sisters, Kathy Grand Bois and Susan Enge. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 21 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Suzi Orlopp, officiating.
Visitation: one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
