Dwaine Rosemore, 68, Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Dwaine was born December 29, 1938 in Edmunds, ND, the son of Forrest and Esther (Zinke) Rosemore. He attended country schools in the Edmunds area and later Jamestown Public Schools. On November 10, 1957 Dwaine married Janice Davis in Carrington, ND. They farmed in the Pingree area in the early years and in 1964 they moved to Jamestown where he worked for City Citco Service Station at Tempo. He then moved to Devils Lake where he formed DE Standard Service with his brother, Elroy. In 1968 Dwaine operated the Phillips 66 Service Station in Jamestown. He owned and operated Dwaine's Auto Service in Jamestown for 20 years. Janice died June 6, 2003.
Dwaine enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed cooking and hosting fish feeds and pig roasts for his family and friends.
Dwaine is survived by his four daughters, Barbara (Randy) Orr, Mandan, ND, Deb Kluckman, Jamestown, ND, Pamela (Clint) Stoltz, Dawson, ND and Linda (Jerry) Imholte, Mandan, ND; nine grandchildren, Derrick (Tara) Orr, Dustin Orr, William Orr, Kelly Rosemore, Blaine Rosemore, Kayla Kluckman, Tiffany Stoltz, Tanner Stoltz and Lexi Jo Imholte; one great-grandson, Morgan Solberg; one sister, Phyllis (Ralph) VanHorn, Fargo, ND and two brothers, Myron Rosemore, Baldwin, ND and Elroy (Margo) Rosemore, Mandan, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Steven Rosemore and a brother-in-law, Joel DeMent.
Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Monday, August 20, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, North Dakota.
