Edna Docktor

Edna Docktor, 83, Jamestown, North Dakota died Friday, December 12, 2003 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown. Edna Fairley was born July 1, 1920 in Jamestown the daughter of John W. and Frances (Libby) Fairley. She grew up and attended school in Jamestown. Edna married Jerome Docktor on February 2, 1940 in Jamestown. She worked as a dental assistant and also worked with her husband at the Lakeside Resort and as a bookkeeper at Gun & Reel Sports in Jamestown.

Edna was a member of the Immaculate Conception Circle and the St. James Tabernacle Society. She also was an avid bowler and golfer.

Edna is survived by her three children, Gary (Donna) Docktor, Jamestown; Sandra (Dennis) Whitson, Indiana, PA and Sharon (Tom) McLaughlin, Post Falls, ID, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerome, four sisters, one brother, a son, Ronald and two infant grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Visitation: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
