Eileen Braun

Eileen Braun, 66, Jamestown, North Dakota, formerly of Jud, ND, died Monday, May 17, 2004 at her home in Jamestown.

Eileen Darlene Elhard was born June 16, 1937 in Raney Township, LaMoure County, North Dakota the daughter of Otto and Bertha (Bossard) Elhard. She attended school in Jud, ND. She later received her GED from James Valley Vocational School. On July 28, 1954 she married Al Braun. They lived in Minnesota and later moved to Jamestown where she still resided. Eileen worked at the Jamestown Sun for many years.

She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, painting, hunting for bargains and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Eileen is survived by her four children, Debra (Bruce Docken) Davis; Wanda Bear and Vicki Danielson all of Jamestown and Duane (Lori) Braun of West Fargo, ND, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Diann (Gordon) Loper, Jamestown , a sister-in-law, Helen Elhard, Gackle and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Walter, Burnette and Alvin and one sister, Loretta.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the Jud Congregational Church, Jud, North Dakota.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial: First Congregational Cemetery, Jud, North Dakota.
