Eleanor Grosz

Eleanor Grosz, 95, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Ave Maria Village Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND. Eleanor Suess was born May 16, 1919, near Hazen, ND to William and Ida (Kilber) Suess. She attended and received her education in rural Hazen schools. On August 12, 1939, she married Fred Grosz in Hazen. Eleanor and Fred lived in Hazen, Fredonia, Nortonville and Edgeley before moving to Jamestown in 1988. Eleanor enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and playing cards. She is survived by two sons, Gary (Marlene) Grosz, Bismarck, ND, Leroy (Linda) Grosz, Harwood, ND; one daughter, Sheila (Robert) Grim, Greenwood, IN; six grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie and Viola. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Archie, Delon, one grandson and one sister.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating.
Visitation: one hour before the service at the church.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
