Elizabeth "Betty" Roach

Elizabeth "Betty" Roach, 81, Jamestown, ND passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in her home.
Elizabeth Hastings was born September 13, 1935 in Jamestown, ND to Don and Elsie (Kurtz) Hastings. She attended and graduated from Jamestown High School. Betty attended N.D.S.S.S. where she received her nursing degree. She was employed at North Dakota State Hospital, Jamestown Hospital and worked at the American Legion.
Betty married Donald "Swede" Rosemore in October 1952. She later married Gordon Roach on June 7, 1975. He passed away June 2008. Her hobbies included participating in pool league, dart league, bowling league. Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Betty liked reading books but her greatest joy was visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Darrell (Jeanne) Rosemore, Jamestown, ND, Randy (Karen) Rosemore, Jamestown, ND, Leigh Ann Rosemore, Plentywood, MT, Keith Rosemore, Minneapolis, MN, Jodi Rosemore, Minneapolis, MN; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Ed (Marlys) Hastings, Prescott Valley, AZ, David (Sherry) Hastings, Appleton, MN, Jerry (Kathy) Hastings, Jamestown, ND, Jim (Diane) Hastings, Jamestown, ND, Donna Hastings (Jonathan Geiger), Grand Forks, ND, Diane Hastings, Jamestown, ND; sister-in-law, Betty Hastings, Fargo, ND. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, brothers, Gary and Dickey, son-in-law, Dennis Sorensen.
Memorials are preferred to JRMC-Hospice.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, December 30 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Erik Weber, officiating.
No visitation scheduled.
Spring Burial: Highland Home Cemetery.
