Elsie Klug

Elsie (Dally) Klug, 94 passed away peacefully Sunday, August 23, 2009 with family by her side in Oakes Community Hospital, Oakes, ND, five days prior to her 95th birthday.

Elsie L. Dally was born August 28, 1914 at Grandin, ND to D.W. (Bill) and Grace (Fletcher) Dally. When she was four years old she moved to Adrian, ND with her family and received her education in Banner country school. Elsie worked for different families before marrying Walter Klug in LaMoure, ND on September 29, 1934. They purchased a farm south of Marion, ND in 1947 and she resided there until 1989. Walter expired in 1988 and then Elsie moved to Marion. She moved to LaMoure, ND in 2002 and in September of 2003 she became a resident of Rosewood Court in LaMoure. In December of 2006 moved into St Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.

Elsie enjoyed entertaining, baking, playing cards, dancing, sewing, crocheting, and making rag rugs.

Three children survive Elsie: Joyce (Arnold Svedjen) Schmoker, LaMoure, ND; Jackie (James) O'Fallon, Great Falls, MT and Gregory (Roxanne) Klug, Marion, ND; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; 2 sisters; Helen Dally, Montpelier, ND; DeLoras (Harold) Greer, McAllen, TX and a brother, Warren "Bud" (Maxine) Dally, Pinehurst, ID.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; a son, Charles; a granddaughter; a great granddaughter; her parents; five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the United Methodist Church, Dickey, ND

Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND

Interment - Sunset Memorial Garden, Jamestown, ND
