Emma Kramlich

Emma Kramlich, 84, Jamestown, North Dakota formerly of Medina, ND died Friday, August 29, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown. Emma Mittleider was born March 8, 1919 in Tappen, ND the daughter of Phillip and Barbara (Kapp) Mittleider.

She attended rural schools in the Tappen, ND area. Emma married Reinhold Kramlich on September 30, 1938 in Steele, ND. They farmed in Dawson, Tappen and the Crystal Springs areas until 1969 when they retired. They moved to Medina where Emma worked in several cafes in the Medina and Jamestown area. Reinhold died October 14, 1998. She was a member of the Medina Senior Citizens and served & delivered Meals on Wheels. Her hobbies included sewing & crafts, gardening, cooking & baking. She also enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and spending time with her family.

Emma is survived by her 5 sons, Virgil (Phyllis) Kramlich, Medina, ND; Raymond (Jeanette) Kramlich, Medina, ND; Leroy (Wanda) Kramlich, Ypsilanti, ND; Donald (Roberta) Kramlich, Jamestown, ND and Randy (June) Kramlich, Bismarck, ND and 4 daughters, Esther (Robert) Teske, Garland, TX; Verna (Larry) Paddock, Denver, CO; Viona (Dennis) Stoppleworth, Ypsilanti, ND and Diana (Kim) Hieb, Woodworth, ND, 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchilren, one great-great-great granddaughter, one sister, Mary (Emil) Kramlich, Bismarck, ND and three brothers, Rudolph (Minnie) Mittleider, Harry (Margaret) Mittleider, and Israel (Mary Lou) Mittleider, all of Tappen, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Edward, one daughter, Norma, four grandchildren, four sisters, six brothers, three of them in infancy.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Medina City Hall, Medina, ND with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Monday, September 1, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:30 PM, Monday, September 1, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Medina Cemetery, Medina, North Dakota.
