Emma Wetzel

Emma Wetzel, 84, of Jamestown, North Dakota died Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home in Jamestown.

Emma Wetzel was born November 15, 1918 in Tuttle, ND the daughter of John and Rosina (Heitz) Wetzel. She was raised in the Tuttle area, attended and graduated from Tuttle High School. Emma worked at the general store in Tuttle. Later, she moved to Grand Forks, ND where she worked at Frank's Café for 25 years. Emma moved to Jamestown in 1985 and worked for the Donut Hole and Leevers until her retirement in 2000.

She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and gardening.

Emma is survived by her three sisters, Ida Rott of Jamestown, ND, Leona Schields of Dodge, ND, and Rosine Wong of St. Paul, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM Monday, August 18, 2003 at the Jamestown Evangelical Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: Sunday, August 17, 2003 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Tuttle Cemetery, Tuttle, North Dakota.
