Erma Kunz

Erma Kunz, 82, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at MedCenter One Golden Manor Nursing Home in Steele, ND.

Erma Rediker was born March 13, 1923 in Preque Isle, Maine, the daughter of Merle and Hazel (Clark) Rediker. She grew up and attended school in Presque Isle, Maine. Erma married Eugene Kunz on November 30, 1943. They moved to Jamestown, ND where she worked for the City Auditor, Everett's Construction, and the North Dakota State Hospital as a secretary.

Erma enjoyed cross stitching and sewing. She had a fond appreciation for Teddy bears.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown where she was involved in Ladies' Aid; the Eagles Auxiliary; and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Erma is survived by one daughter, Carol (Doug) Kinnischtzke of Tappen, ND; three sons, Merle (Debbie) Kunz of Ferndale, WA, Arlan (Denise) Kunz of Fargo, ND, and Brian (Nancy) Kunz of Jamestown, ND; 8 grandchildren, Kyle Kunz, Dillon Kunz, Bryce Kunz, Danny Kunz, Melissa Guthmiller, April Kinnischtzke, Tayler Kinnischtzke and Amanda Kunz; 2 great grandchildren, Caitlyn Guthmiller and Zachary Guthmiller; and one brother, Harold (Phyllis) Rediker of Jerome, ID.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Memorial Service: 10:30AM, Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Rev. Doug Opp officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Monday, October 24, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

No Visitation is scheduled.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
