Ervin Ennis, 90, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday night, May 23, 2019 at Eventide, Jamestown.
Ervin was born August 18, 1928, in Montpelier, ND, the son of Cloney and Laura (Boelter) Ennis. He attended school in Montpelier and Jamestown. Ervin and Beverly Weber were married on January 3, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where Ervin worked several jobs before becoming a mechanic for Ottertail Power Co. He retired after 39 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and going on cruises with Beverly. Ervin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the V.F.W. and American Legion, the Elks and Eagles.
Ervin is survived by his wife, Beverly Ennis; son, Steven (Bonnie); daughter, Barbara; four grandchildren, Kacie, Krystal, Travis (Trisha), and Sadie; and seven great-grandchildren, Kalliyah, Mason, Ashton, Mylee, Caitlin, Paige, and Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Valora and Elaine; and brother, Donald Ennis.
Per Ervin’s request, there will be no services held. Burial of his ashes will be at a later date at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
