Esther Elenora Grenz

Esther Grenz, 87, died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown, ND.

Esther Elenora Schlenker was born January 8, 1917 at Kulm, ND, the daughter of Gottlieb and Katherina (Maier) Schlenker. She grew up in Kulm and married Ohmer Grenz on November 9, 1939 at the Kulm Seventh Day Adventist Church. They farmed near Kulm until 1964, when they moved to Jamestown where she was employed by the North Dakota State Hospital for 26 years. Ohmer died November 4, 1980.

Esther is survived by one daughter, Kathy Grenz of Jamestown; one son, Timothy Grenz of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Justin of Fargo, Travis and Alisha of Valley City, ND, Jonathan and his daughter, great-granddaughter Isabella Marie of Minot, ND; two sisters-in-law, Mabel Schlenker of Kulm and Burnett Schlenker of Kulm.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Elator (Mabel) and Arthur Schlenker; and one sister, Artine (Otto) Kingsfield.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Kulm Seventh Day Adventist Church, south of Kulm, ND.

Visitation: Tuesday, October 19, 2004 from 1:00PM to 7:30PM at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Prayer Service: 7:30PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Kulm Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Kulm, ND.
