Esther A Radtke

Esther Radtke, 89, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Monday morning, October 12, 2020 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Esther Entzminger was born March 18, 1931, in Alfred, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Frances (Wolf) Entzminger. She was educated in country schools and helped on the family farm. Esther married Vernon Radtke on August 31, 1951 in Jamestown. She raised four boys and worked alongside her husband on the farm. Esther moved to Jamestown where she lived in various apartments, and then with DelRay in 2014. She became a resident of Eventide in July 2017. Esther enjoyed canning, cross-stitching, making quilts and table clothes.

Esther loved her children, DelRay Radtke, LaVern (Mary) Radtke, and Bryan Radtke, Sr.; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Delores Plinski, Darrel (Vonnie) Entzminger, Valeria (Cliff) Orr, and Lawrence Entzminger, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Radtke; sisters, Inez, Arvilla; and brothers, Bernett and Eugene.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown and one hour before the funeral at the church.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: James Valley Cemetery, Ypsilanti, ND.
