Esther Laura Reister

Esther Laura Reister, 82 , Medina, North Dakota died Friday, November 1, 2002 at the Baptist Home, Bismarck, North Dakota.

Esther Laura Graf was born in Newbury Township, near Medina, North Dakota the daughter of Gottlieb and Emma (Stolz) Graf. She grew up and attended school in Newbury Township. Esther married Herbert A. Reister on January 20, 1938 at Medina, North Dakota. She and her husband ran Herb's Bar in Medina until retiring in 1963. Herb died on December 4, 1999.

Esther was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Medina, N.D.

Esther is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Barbara Reister, Mandan, N.D.; two grandsons, Robert (Wendy) Reister, Bismarck, N.D.; Craig (Chris) Reister, Mahtomedi, MN ; and two great grandchildren (Samuel and Matthew). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister (Lorene Bohn), and a brother (Elmer Graf).

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. - Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at Zion United Church of Christ - Medina, N.D., with Rev. Karl Limvere officating.

Visitation: Monday, November 4, 2002 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Eddy Funeral Home - Jamestown, N.D.

Burial: Medina Cemetery - Medina, N.D.
