Esther Rosemore

Esther Rosemore, 86, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo.

Esther Zinke was born July 10, 1917 in McClusky, ND to Frederick and Christina (Hieb) Zinke. She attended school in McClusky. Esther moved to Goldwin, ND where she met Forrest Rosemore. On July 2, 1936 they were married in McClusky. They farmed in the Edmunds, ND community until Forrest died in 1973. She retired in 1975 and lived in Jamestown until 1990, when she moved to Fargo to be closer to her daughter, Phyllis. Esther lived in Fargo until her passing.

Esther enjoyed crocheting, sewing, dancing, and working along side her husband on the farm.

She is survived by her three sons, Dwaine of Jamestown, Myron of Bismarck, ND, and Elroy (Margo) of Mandan, ND; one daugher, Phyllis DeMent of Fargo, ND; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Ole (Erlene) Zinke of Whitefish, MT; and one sister, Edna Burr of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son-in-law, Joel DeMent; one daughter-in-law, Janice Rosemore; two grandsons, Steven Rosemore and Michael DeMent; one granddaughter, Tammy Rosemore; six brothers; and one sister.

Funeral Service: 1:00PM Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Ellingsen officiating.

Visitation: Monday, December 1, 2003 from 10:00AM to 9:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, ND.
