Esther Triepke

Esther Triepke, 81, Edgeley, ND, died Monday, September 24, 2007 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Esther Kalmbach was born November 1, 1925 on the family farm southwest of Jud, ND, the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Elhard) Kalmbach. She was raised near Jud and attended the Raney Township School. On October 21, 1942, she married Harry Triepke at LaMoure, ND and they made their home on a farm in Bluebird Township south of Jud, ND. They farmed until 1994 when they retired and moved to Edgeley, ND. In May of 2006, Esther entered St. Rose Care Center in LaMoure, ND.
Esther was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, needlepoint, playing cards and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; 3 sons: Jerome (Sue) Triepke, Fargo, ND; Rod (Peg) Triepke, Nortonville, ND; Calvin (Bonnie) Triepke, Fargo, ND; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Emma (Harry) Ehmann, Gackle, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Carol; 3 brothers: John, Henry and Christ and 3 sisters: Martha, Lena and Orlinda.
Funeral - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, Edgeley, ND with Reverend Alan Eppen officiating.
Prayer Service - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND.
Visitation - 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley, ND
Interment - Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, ND
