Eunice Horton

Eunice Horton, 71, Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.

Eunice Iverson was born February 13, 1932 in Jamestown, the daughter of Peter and Florence (Guyott) Iverson. She graduated from Jamestown High School and Jamestown College.

She was employed at James River National Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank) and worked at Jamestown College for 34 years as secretary, assistant registrar and registrar.

Eunice was baptized and confirmed at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown. She married Gilbert E. (Bert) Horton March 16, 1973 at Grace Episcopal Church, Jamestown. He died December 26, 1996.

She is survived by twelve nieces & nephews, a brother-in-law, Jamison Cain, Arlington, VA, a sister-in-law, Edith Iverson, Grafton, ND and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kent and Ruth Horton, Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers; Raymond, Melvin & Richard and a sister, Arleen Cain.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2003, Grace Episcopal Church, Jamestown with Rev. Donald F. Brown officiating.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday, May 2, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
