Eva Dodds

Eva Dodds, 97, of Jamestown died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ave Maria Village. Eva was born November 14, 1919 in Jamestown the daughter of John and Rosina (Horning) Derheim. She attended schools in Jamestown, and later was employed as a cook at the Jamestown Cafe, ND State Hospital, and the Anne Carlson School.
She married George Deede in 1944, he was killed in WWII. She married Jack Dodds in 1946, He died in 1976. Eva loved her church, Faith Baptist, and watching and feeding birds, gardening, and puzzle books.
She is survived by four sons, Robert (Juanita) Deede, Art (Susan) Dodds, Douglas Dodds, Dennis (Kathleen) Dodds, Two daughters, Linda Smith and Debbie Dodds.
Funeral service; 10:30 AM, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Good Shepherd Chapel at Ave Maria Village with Pastor Paul Stuart officiating.
Visitation; 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, at Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial will take place at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
