Eva K Goldade

Eva Kraft Goldade, 87, of Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Jamestown Hospital. She was born July 8, 1925 the daughter of William and Magdalena (Fettig) Kraft on the family farm. On October 28, 1946 Eva married Frank Goldade in Selz, ND and together the couple farmed in rural Harvey until 1958 when they purchased a farm in Eldridge. Eva and Frank enjoyed playing all kinds of cards especially Pinochle, Gin Rummy, Rook, and Clubs.
They passed along their knowledge and love for cards to their children and grandchildren. Eva spent many hours having coffee with her friends and socializing with her neighbors. Eva was a member of a birthday club, Stutsman County Homemakers, and St. James Catholic Church.
Eva is survived by two sons, Donald (Judy) Goldade in Lone Rock WI and Robert (Teri) Goldade of Plano, TX; daughter-in-law, Carol Goldade of Jamestown, ND; eight grandchildren, Anson (fiancé Brenda Klink) Goldade, Melissa (Marty) Sprecher, Michelle (Joel) Solverson, Kari (Chris) Lato, DeAnna Goldade, Tyler Goldade, Amanda Goldade, Megan Goldade; six great-grandchildren, Gavyn and Paige Prem, Talena and Annabeth Sprecher, Milo Chart, Lilly Schmidt; three step-great-grandchildren, Sidney and Brady Sprecher and Alex Lato; brothers and sisters, Rose Krensel of Harvey, ND, Betty Selzler of Harvey, ND, Maggie (Archie) Huber of Harvey, ND, Bernice (Albert) Kelly of Clinton, LA, Walter (Eunice) Kraft of Grand Junction, CO, Leonard (Regina) Kraft of Aurora, CO, Bill (Diane) Kraft of Moorcraft, WY, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Ronnie and Randy; three sisters, Helen Kraft, Agnes Fossen, Theresa Weltz; four brothers, Edmond, Leo, Albert, and Peter Kraft; four brothers-in-law, Sigvart Fossen, Clinton Weltz, Pius Krenzel, and Steve Selzler.
Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Prayer Service: 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Burial: Eldridge Cemetery, Eldridge, ND.
