Eva Schlosser, 88, Edgeley, ND died at St. Rose Care Center, Lamoure, ND on Monday, April 06, 2009.

Eva Schumacher was born May 30, 1920 at Linton, ND the daughter of Wendelin and Margaret (Glatt) Schumacher. She attended school at Glencross, SD and then came to Edgeley, ND with her family in 1936. They lived on a farm west of Edgeley until they purchased their homestead. Eva married Sebsastian Schlosser on October 16, 1939 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, ND. They moved onto a farm located 9 miles north and 3 miles East of Edgeley where they farmed until Sebastian retired in 1982 and they moved into Edgeley. Later they both moved into Manor St. Joseph, Edgeley, ND. He died January 29, 1992. Later, Eva moved to St. Rose Care Center in 2007.

Survivors include her 4 daughters, Teresa (Vernon) Henne, Nortonville, ND, Eva Hochhalter, Lino Lakes, MN, Veronica (Roger) Smart, Fargo, ND and Martha Jacobsen, Brooklyn Park, MN; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Christina Mellies, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Anna Geffre, Jamestown, ND, Betty Marquart, and 1 brother Peter Schumacher, both Forest Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepmother, 2 daughters, Caroline and Mary; 4 brothers, Frank, Jacob, Sebastian and Baltzer and 1 sister, Marie.

Eva was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church of Edgeley.

Funeral Mass: 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, LaMoure, ND.

Visitation: 12:00 Noon until service time on Wednesday at the church.

Interment: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley, ND.
